Description

In the early morning after having a resting night, we will embark for approximately 4 hours to have one of the best experiences with tropical birds in the Amazon. The Chuncho macaw clay lick or Collpa, is one of the most stunning wildlife spectacles in the world.

During the journey we will pass interesting formations of basaltic rock, perhaps some gold prospectors, beautiful sandy beaches, we will leave behind communities and farms and navigate inside the heart of the TAMBOPATA NATIONAL RESERVE.

Once there, flocks of parakeets, parrots, and macaws will be perched on the nearby trees waiting for the moment to go down on the cliffs, and you are about to see and hear one of the most amazing moments in nature full of color and sound,  it is a must-see for travelers and families who love nature.
